Partridge Jewellers in Queenstown has recently moved to a new premises at 18 Rees Street, offering an enhanced selection of luxury jewellery and Swiss watches.

This move is part of the retailer’s ongoing efforts to broaden its product range and improve customer experience.

    Expanded Product Offering

The new store location boasts an extended range of luxury brands, now including OMEGA, Cartier, Breitling, Chopard, and Longines alongside existing offerings of Rolex, Tudor, and TAG Heuer. Additionally, the store has introduced jewellery from renowned houses such as Fabergé, Pasquale Bruni, and Vhernier, marking a significant expansion of its luxury product range.

    Design and Aesthetic

The design of the new Queenstown store, conceptualised by Hannah Davies Studio, draws inspiration from the region’s natural beauty. The material palette used in the store’s interior is intended to complement the iconic mountain landscapes of Queenstown and the Canterbury plains, providing a unique shopping experience that combines luxury with the essence of local aesthetics.

    Implications for the Jewellery Industry

The relocation and expansion of this Queenstown retailer reflect broader trends in the luxury jewellery and watch market. By enhancing its brand portfolio and investing in a bespoke store design, the retailer is positioning itself to meet the growing demand for luxury goods in the region. This development may encourage other industry players to similarly expand their offerings and invest in customer experience, potentially leading to increased competition and innovation within the sector.
